Rings v2

Actuelly, after posting the previous image, I though that it would greatly benefit from cropping. I know that usually they do, although this one slipped through. And making it portrait-oriented. See for yourself.

Rings

These are just your average shiny curtain rings. These I took while I was trying my Sigma 50mm Macro lens some years back. Although I was very happy with it, I eventually sold it and bought a Canon 50mm F1,4. I used a Nikon flashgun bounced of a ceiling (or was it a waal??). It's perhaps a bit abstract photo but I hope someone besides myself likes it :-)

Pocket watch

This I bought from an online auction. Can't remember the specs, but it's about 100 years old. It still works and keeps an accurate time. I really can't tell why, but I have always had a fascination to pocket watches. They are their own universe, small mechanical wonder. Normal wrist watch is just so ... well, normal. Perhaps the reason is that practically nobody uses pocket watch these days.

From photo point of view, this was pretty simple image to take. Tamron 28-75mm lens at 50mm. External flash behind bounced from the ceiling. Enjoy, I hope.

A Rim

This photo I took at a car show some years ago. 50 mm lens, no flash. Not much else to say about it.

Leaf

Well, there's not much to say about this. Leaf was hanging with a clothes pin against a piece of white paper. Flash behind. Too bad the left side of the picture is way out of focus, but otherwise I like the image. Taken with a Tamron 28-75mm lens. I can't remember whether I had extension tube attached, propably I didn't. Again, hope someone else beside me likes it :-)

Basket

I have been taking photos for about 25 years, more or less frequently. Occasionally I have noticed, that I actually managed to take a decent photo or to. I am an amateur and my work isn't even remotely related to photography. But like real artists, I would like people to see my work and perhaps even get a comment or two. I am hoping to add a photo or two per week if time permits. Some are quite old, some new. But without any further ado, here's the first one. Hope you like it :-)
